CENTRAL. REFINED. ELEGANT
The names of our houses are linked to Spazioscena Cultural Association and they are each dedicated to a muse, protector of arts. Terpsichore, whose name comes from Greek τερπέω (I like) and χoρός (dance) is the Muse protector of dance and chorus. She is the mother of the sirens and of the poet, Lino – a character of Greek mythology who is considered the creator of melody and rhythm. In classical representation, she is depicted as a young woman with a long dress, crowned with laurel leaves while playing a lyre to accompany dancers with her music.
The apartment dedicated to Terpsichore is on the second floor of a Ninetheenth-century building located across from the Virgin Mary’s Nativity Church, in one of the most important squares of Castelbuono – Largo della Parrocchia. This monumental church was built between the end of XVI Century and early XVII century, and then rebuilt in the neoclassical style after being severely damaged in the earthquake of 1820.
A noble threshold with three stone steps and an ornate entrance lead to the three-level apartment where the space is used in a very modern way.
The dwelling consists of a double and a single bedroom, two bathrooms, one with shower, a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchen, whose gem is a ceramic decorated fireplace. Finally, a charming terrace overlooks the town’s rooftops – a perfect place to enjoy the freshness of summer nights, or a sunset aperitif while being mesmerized by the infinite shades of light reflected on the houses and historical landmarks.
Spazioscena Cultural Association is located a few minutes from the apartment, where our guests can find an array of services available for them.Book Terpsichore
